Congratulations to Joe Liscoe, Ruby Moss and Colm Xiao who were all prizewinners at the recent Newry Feis organ competitions. Joe won the Gold Medal in the Novice Organ class, Ruby was awarded the Alma Brown Cup for Junior Organ Solo while Colm was Silver Medal winner in the Junior Class.

The organ competition was adjudicated by Mr Tristan Russcher, one of the leading keyboard musicians in Ireland. Following the competition, participants benefited from a masterclass with Mr Russcher where they were given individual feedback on their organ playing.

The competitions and masterclass provide an excellent opportunity for pupils to perform for others and develop their performance skills in a competitive and supportive environment.
