Congratulations to James Cullen, 2B, who recently took part in the Newry Feis where he won a trophy for most promising performer as well as other awards for his poetry and prose recitations. 

James took part in the Newry Feis and won a trophy for most promising performer, he was placed second and got a silver medal for his recitation of The Listeners poem by. Walter de la Mare, and he was placed 3rd in his ballad The Shooting of Dan McGrew by Robert W. Service in The Ballad Class for boys and girls over 12 and under 18 and got a bronze medal and he was placed 3rd in his Yeats class for boys and girls over 12 and under 18 for which he got a bronze medal.

The adjudicator for this Feis was Rebecca Vines.
