Lorraine and Michelle, with Ambassador Dog Wilbur, visited 1 White CSPE class on Wednesday March 6 to talk about the work of assistant dogs in supporting children with autism.

 

1 White students are working on a range of diverse Young Social Innovator (YSI) projects. Jonathan, Milo, Tristan and Teddy are doing their project on Guide Dogs.

 

Lorraine is the mother of Grace Clifford in 5^th year. She spoke how their assistant dog supported her son who had autism. Michelle is Lorraine’s sister. Grace was very helpful in organising her mum to come in and talk to the 1^st year class. A enjoyable class. Wilbur seemed at home with the students.
