The boys gave a good account of themselves convincingly defeating Castlecomber and St Peter’s, Wexford, 6-0, in the group stages.

A 3 way, play off for the medals saw DGS, overcome Kilkenny College 5-1, to set up a final against a strong Wesley College.

Corentin, Cathal, Adam and George battled hard, contesting every point but in the end had to settle for a closely fought 2-4 loss, to finish runners- up.

A great achievement, and some smashing badminton.
