The 25 students of 5^th year Economics class who participated in the Young Economist of the Year 2024 Awards. Each student submitted an economics research project, either as an individual or part of a group. Each student who participated was certified.

 

9 projects were selected from the class and entered for the Awards. 6 were awarded silver medals and 3 were awarded bronze medals. 12 students representing the 9 projects travelled to University of Limerick on May 8 to receive their medals. The 6 projects receiving silver medals were invited to exhibit their projects on the day.

 

Congratulations to all 25 students on submitting projects, and to the 14 students who were awarded medals. Worthy Young Economists!
