TY HOSPITALITY students opened their Cafe BEAN THERE BREWED THAT on Tuesday afternoon November 14.

 

Creating a homely warm atmosphere on a cold dark November afternoon, it was great to have a space to sit down in comfort and enjoy some tasty home-baked cakes and quality coffees, teas and hot chocolate. The light music in the background softened the atmosphere. The students, looking smart in their black uniform tops, were well organised and made customers welcome with their friendly and efficient demeanour. Prices were the best in town. The bakes were tasty and the beverages were top quality. Their new coffee making machine allied with their barista training made this the place to get your favourite latte.

 

Seamas Capliss and 2 of his colleagues from Food Solutions were in attendance to cut the ribbon to officially open the Cafe. Food Solutions have joined with the students to supply the coffee-making machine, coffees and other materials, including the cups. As the suppliers to Panama Cafe in Dundalk, this supply link-up is a sure guarantee to the quality of the product on offer.

 

Cafe culture has come to DGS. Watch this space. This venture is deserving of the support from the wider student and staff body in the school. Come visit and relax. We think you’ll be impressed.
