TY White celebrate the conclusion of their Share Investment Competition, which was run as part of their 8 week TY Economics module.

 

Each student was given a virtual €200 to invest in stocks and shares on the Irish Stock Market.

 

The competition was fierce, but the humour was good. Investments were cashed in every Friday and reinvested for the following week, over the 8 week period.

 

Engraved Placques were presented to the final top 3 Investors.

 

Finishing in 3rd Place was Eoghan McGovern, whose investment value rose to €317.31. We are delighted for Eoghan, who leaves for a different part of the country and a new school, and we wish him well.

 

In 2nd place was Frank Liang, whose investment value rose to €384.68.

 

The hottest  investor, the overall winner and top investor was Dillon Simpson, who managed to grow his investment value to €395.21, registering just under a 100% growth on his initial investment. Well done to Dillon!
