Congratulations to Melissa who received the ‘Intergenerational Solidarity and Cooperation between Generations’ Gold Award from Christine O’Kelly, Age-Friendly University Network Global Coordinator, Dublin City University.

Melissa entered the competition and submitted her essay ‘Generation to Revelation’ which was based on her own experience of doing a work placement in a nursing home. 

The competition was judged by members of the Age-Friendly University and Melissa secured first place.
