07 Dec Peter Fitzpatrick TD visit to 5th Year Politics and Economics Classes
Peter Fitzpatrick TD met with the 5th Year Politics and Economics students on Monday December 3rd. Peter will contest the next election as an Independent candidate.
He spoke about his path in to Politics, and his passion for representing his home town of Dundalk and County Louth.
He was asked a range of questions by the students, which made for an interesting and enjoyable afternoon session.
Peter praised the students for their thoughtful questions, and articulate views.
Politics and Society is a new subject on the Leaving Certificate curriculum, and has been well received by the first batch of students to undertake its study.
