Louth County Council First Aid Programme
for Secondary Schools Launch

TY students at the launch of Louth County Council First Aid Programme for Secondary Schools in County Louth which took place in Dundalk Grammar School on Monday January 30th.

Twenty TY students will be offered the opportunity to participate in a day-long First Aid course provided by Paramedics attached to the HSE.

All TY students undertake a First Aid module as part of the TY Programme. This course will add to the knowledge base of participating students, and the day of training will be certified.

This initiative by Louth County Council is part of a national campaign roll-out to equip young people with the practical skills of First Aid.
