The children from Dundalk Grammar Junior School have recently taken part in Go Dundalk Smarter Schools Cycle training.
The aim of this programme is to teach them how to manage their bicycle, familiarise them with the cycle lanes in town, to learn about the safety code and of course to encourage them to cycle.
Mary and Maria Kelly from Pedal Right in Donegal and contracted from Louth County Council are in charge of this training and have already been to 7 schools in Dundalk.
