Mr Keegan and Students at Ploughing Championships
For the third year in a row, the school was present at the National Ploughing Championships.
The 2015 championships were held from 22nd-24th September in Ratheniska, Co Laois.
Visitors to the DGS stand participated in a competition and winners were as follows:
- First prize (i-pad mini courtesy of Ganson ltd): Helen Madigan Askeaton Co Limerick
- Second prize (stay in the Ballymascanlon House Hotel, courtesy of same): Martha Carty Walsh Island Co Offaly
- Third prize (home CCTV system courtesy of Moran CCTV): Beth O’Sullivan Macroom Co Cork
