Junior School Hockey Team 2015
On Thursday 22nd October 2015, Dundalk Grammar Junior School travelled to Newtown Hamilton High School to take part in the Armagh Primary School Hockey tournament.
Dundalk Grammar A team competed in Section one and were undefeated. The DGS B team were in section two and won all games except for a narrow defeat to Markethill Primary School A team.
The final was then played between the Grammar School A team and Markethill A team. DGS took the lead with a fine goal from Natacha Swan but Markethill equalised just before half time.
It was a very close game, but with one minute left on the clock, Moya Louet Feisser scored the winning goal for DGS. Captain Dillon Simpson then lifted the trophy for Dundalk Grammar Junior School.
