French Visitors with DGS pupils
9 young pupils from Bourg-en-Bresse (in Eastern France about 70 Kms northeast of Lyon) are spending a week in Ireland and staying with their Irish penpals from Dundalk Grammar Junior School.
Mrs Lait, Principal of the Junior School, welcomed them to the Junior School and told the guests about the range of activities organised for them: Carlingford, the Battle of the Boyne, Newgrange, singing and Irish dancing, pottery…and much more. Some will have had the opportunity to go to Dublin with their host family over the weekend. Both Irish and French students are very excited. It could be the beginning of great friendships!
