St Gregory's Visit to Dundalk Grammar School
On Wednesday 28th January 2014 DGS hosted a visit of staff and students from a school in Vicente López on the outskirts of the city of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
St Gregory’s College is a school of similar size to Dundalk Grammar School operating two academic programmes, one in English which covers University of Cambridge exams and another based on the Argentinian curriculum.
A visit to Europe is planned every two years and includes a cultural, sports and musical tour programme.
In common with Dundalk Grammar School, St Gregory’s offers many extra-curricular activities, and this could be seen in the travelling group of 60 students, (24 boys and 36 girls) who are taking part in hockey, rugby, band and choir activities.
