Drogheda Grammar School’s new astro-turf pitch saw its first schools’ match earlier this month. Johnny Bell and Aidan Hopkins scored for Dundalk Grammar School’s Minors in a friendly that ended with a 2-1 victory for Dundalk.
Pictured are Mr. Trevor Elliott, Deputy Principal, with the two team captains. Mr Elliott was receiving a commemorative plate on behalf of Dundalk Grammar School to mark the occassion and the long association between the two schools who have enjoyed a friendly rivalry on the sports field over many years.
