Musical: Pride & Prejudice

At the end of October 2011, Dundalk Grammar School staged a musical production of Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice.  The show was staged in the Town Hall Theatre in Dundalk and large crowds were in attendance for every performance.

Modernised to the Art Deco era of the 1930s, the production showcased the depth of creative talent that exists within DGS.  On every night of the show’s run, students highlighted their abilities in providing a mesmerising spectacle of singing, dancing and acting.

As has been the case in recent years, the entire production stemmed from the creative vision and talent of Ms. Kate Clarke who, along with cast members, sacrificed many evenings and weekends to make the show a success.
