I wanted to share the details regarding a few upcoming computing events in DkIT.

Firstly, this coming Saturday, the Dundalk CoderDojo is participating in DójoMór. I’ll attach the poster here, but it’s a great way for children and younger students to get a fun introduction to some tech and computing workshops.

Our Computing TY week event is also upcoming shortly, it’ll take place in two weeks from Tuesday 29^th October – Thursday 31st October. Students will attend three days of practical workshops from 10.00 – 15.00 each day, in topics such as Programming, Web Development, Animation, Networking, Data Science and more. Tickets are free but there are limited numbers of spaces available.

Please let me know if you’d like tickets put aside for your students and I’ll do so. Given that these dates unfortunately align with secondary school mid-term break, we’d ask that students only request a space if they’re happy to attend on that break. There will be another TY week towards the end of the 2^nd semester, normally around the start of May.
