2nd Year Green students, Alva Meally, Mia Staun, Abigail Walsh and Isabelle Tracey, presented a cheque for €150 to Hattie Billingham, Coordinator Sosad Dundalk, the proceeds of a bake sale the girls held in the school

 

The girls are participants in the Young Social Innovators (YSI) Junior Section Programme 2020 – 2021. Their project is entitled ABUSE OF DRUGS. Sosad is a locally based charity that supports young people and mental health

 

The girls have worked on raising awareness for themselves and other students of the impact of drugs on mental health and well-being of young people. As part of the YSI Programme, they gave a presentation to their class on the issue, and produced a written report.
