IRISH APPLIED MATHEMATICS TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION COMPETITION WINNERS

 

There was success for Dundalk Grammar School at the annual IAMTA regional Junior Problem Solver.

The competition consisting of schools from the North East, took place on the evening of Thursday 24th January in St. Mary’s, Dundalk.

The quiz tests participants understanding in Maths and Physics for the most able in 3rd and 4th year.

The Grammar was ably represented by two strong teams.

The team of Siofra; Ryan; Ronan and Ashik took the honours by winning the competition outright with a very respectable score.

They progress to the National Final in Athlone on March 23rd.

Not too far behind in third was the Grammar’s other team of Vishva; Katie; Lila and Mia.

Well done to all the students involved!
