Twenty five DGS students traveled to Cabinteely on Wednesday 24th January, to compete in round 3 of the Leinster Schools Orienteering.
James Murray continued to show a natural aptitude for navigating and raced around the course in the fastest time. He was closely followed home by Robert Malone and Rueben O Neill on the day.
Best for the Girls was Heather Logue who finished in 3rd place.
Congratulations to James, Cris Clarke and Dillon Simpson who all have performed consistently well over all 3 rounds in the 1st Year event and finished as the top 3 in the league.

The final league event of the Leinster Post Primary Orienteering League took place on Wednesday last in Cabinteely Park, with Castleknock Community College girls putting in fine performances to come out league winners in all girls categories.

Full Results : This event was originally to be held on 17 January but, due to a clash of events in Cabinteely Park, the event was rescheduled for 24 January. However, the IOA results page still lists the event as held on 17 January.
