Leinster Orienteering League.

26 DGS students traveled to Santry on Wed 6th Dec to compete in round 2 of the Leinster Orienteering league.
 
 
Again there was some fine performances with the 1st Years boys particularly dominant.
James Murray set out determined to run a fast time, which he did, but Harry Winston used his combined athletic ability and mapping reading skills to finish just a few seconds ahead.
 
 
After two rounds James and Harry hold the top two spots with a further 6 boys from DGS making up the top 10.
 
 
Best for the girls were Lily Mc Entegart and Sophie Meegan, with a total of 6 DGS girls in the top 10 after two rounds.
