Past pupil John McGahon, local Fine Gael Councillor, came in to school on Tuesday Dec 5th to chat with the 5th Year Economics Class.
John spoke about his progression in to Politics, and how Politics is a passion for him.
A range of issues came up for discussion, as he sought the views and opinions of the students, before giving his own views, and that of his Party.
His advice to the students was to follow the path that is presented to them, and that things happen for a reason. Whatever your path, opportunity will present itself, and there are different routes to achieve what you want.
