Prefects Graduate from First Aid Course

Twenty Prefects graduated as First Aiders following a one day First Aid Course provided by Brendan Matthews, Paramedic, on behalf of Louth County Council, as part of a nationwide roll-out of First Aid training being offered to secondary school students throughout Ireland.

The Prefects will now act as First Aid Responders in the course of their many duties they carry out in the daily running of the school.

Each Prefect was presented with a Certificate, and with a special Pin engraved with the words First Aider. These senior students are the first students in County Louth to be presented with this Pin, and the first ever Prefects, and indeed students, in the school to be presented with this special pin.

Congratulations to you all.
