Tooth Led Teens – Peer Education Programme 2015/2016
On 24th September 2015, a number of DGS Transition Year students attended the ‘Tooth Led Teens’ Peer Education Training Programme, facilitated by Ms Liz O’Reilly, HSE Health Education Officer for Oral Health.
The ‘Tooth Led Teens’ programme has been developed by the HSE Oral Health Promotion Team for post-primary schools in the Cavan/Monaghan Meath & Louth Areas. The programme aims to increase awareness of oral health within the school environment.
The programme is being delivered to all First Years just before mid-term.
Our Peer Educators this year are as follows: Chloe McCann, Thomas Shevlin, Jack Hughes, Jack Jones, Zoe Valentine, Seun Solanke, Saoirse Meehan, Bobby McCabe and Sarah Jane Breagy.
