Rugby legends Alan Quinlan and Stephen Ferris with DGS coaches Alan Norton and Enda Murphy
The 6 Nations Trophy and the Triple Crown made a recent (Wednesday 10th February 2016) visit to Dundalk Grammar School.
The trophies were accompanied by rugby legends Alan Quinlan (ex Munster and Ireland) and Stephen Ferris (ex Ulster and Ireland).
The former Irish rugby stars spoke to students in both the secondary school and the junior school and were patient in posing for lots of photographs and signing autographs. They also pronounced themselves very happy with the food in the Boarders Canteen where they had lunch!
The visit was sponsored by the school’s bank and a signed Irish rugby jersey was presented to DGS as a memento of the day.
