However it may be less well known that as well as being a legendary musician, John is also a poet who has recently published a book of poetry ‘Fiddle Dreams’.
As part of Dundalk Grammar School’s Literary Week, John visited the school library on Tuesday 1st March to talk about his poetry and music.
John was accompanied by Irish poet, Tony Curtis, an experienced facilitator of poetry and creative writing workshops.
Tony’s poems have won many competitions at home and abroad.
