Debating 2015

Tuesday, 6th October 2015  sees the school firing its opening salvo of the year in terms of competitive debating as four students make the trip to Trinity College Dublin for the opening stages of this year’s Leinster Schools’ competition.

Teofil Camarasu and James Ellis will debate the merits of a national lottery, whilst Reni Ibikunle and Daniel Molloy will be considering whether or not mandatory voting should be introduced.

The students will be accompanied by other members of the school’s debating club, who will be on hand to offer support and also to learn about the craft of competitive debating as they gear up for their own forays in the field this year.

We wish all well and look forward to news of their endeavours.
